How to get the best Georgetown, SC rental home experience:
Getting the best rental home value:
- To find the most suitable vacation home within your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
- Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Many management companies supply Georgetown, SC area visitor guides which will include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself.
