Getting the best Georgetown vacation home experience:

When to visit & When to reserve a Georgetown, SC rental home:

  • In the Georgetown, SC area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your vacation rental 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Georgetown. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring months is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Georgetown, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property managers typically offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Georgetown, SC area visitors guide magazines that include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Georgetown, SC area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Begin by selecting trip dates and a spending budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Front Street Cottage has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Georgetown, SC rental home search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email the property owner before booking your rental. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to determine what is suitable for your vacation family.
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you must reserve a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Often, hosts charge additional pet fees.
  • If there's a certain Georgetown, SC beach you are crazy about, browse homes that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental

More tips for your visit:

  • Get the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your . We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are away, just like you would back home.
  • To make certain that no damages are attributed to your stay, make note of any problem areas upon check in. Speak to the rental manager immediately to relay any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Be respectful. Frequently, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the property to confirm you've collected everything. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a excellent time? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
